Courts have issued orders blocking student debt relief. The Biden-Harris Administration is seeking to overturn those orders. For the latest information regarding the status of student debt relief, visit StudentAid.gov.
The Dept of ED recently announced additional borrower defense discharges. Visit the Borrower Defense Updates page to learn more. If you have questions, call the borrower defense hotline at 1-855-279-6207 from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. Eastern time (ET) Monday through Friday and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET Saturday through Sunday.

Auto Pay Confirmation Required — For borrowers with Department of Education owned loans that are in the COVID-19 payment suspension, you must act now if you're enrolled in Auto Pay to ensure your Auto Pay payments resume after the COVID-19 payment suspension ends.
